A recent scientific breakthrough has confirmed that there is a distinct attraction to names, brands and even locations, that match the letters of our own name. It exposes how we naturally make friends with others who share our letters and even predictively choose activities that match our name.

Powernyms take it one-step further. Our tests, and subsequent PR releases, prove without a shadow of doubt that qualifiable traits, abilities and latent skills synchronise with the letters of everyone's name.  THE NAME-LETTER EFFECT

According to a wide range of neurological tests, measuring the so-called Name-Letter Effect, participants consistently preferred the letters in their own name above any other letters in the alphabet without being told what the tests were about.

They also found that the participants preferred people and brands that included the letters in their own name. Our tests indicate that this extends to our likely strengths, talents, and abilities, as isolated by the same letter patterns.

This unexpected attraction even included jumbled letter patterns. And there were also found to affect all the participant's decisions being influenced by this at an unconscious level. Presuading us to subconsciously prefer people and brands that include the letters in our own name. 

Amazingly, my wife's first names perfectly mirror the exact consonants of our married name. Even my long-term clients noticeably share the very same letters with either my name or my brand.

So it appears, letters attract us to do things at a far deeper level than we ever thought possible.

 LETTERS WIRE TO BEHAVIOURS TOO

Our independent research indicated that letter fragments also reflect consistent meanings through this phenomenon. We found that simple consonant groups like VL connected evil, vile, veil and violent - where LV mirrors as love, live and alive.

We realised that we had effectively uncovered a matrix of understanding that conveyed distinct characteristics within every underlying letter cluster in language.

This further extends the name-letter effect to a word-letter effect where we can establish personalised traits, abilities and skills that are directly connected to your name, on both sides of the equation.

Unfortunately, most of our beta-testers also seemed naturally drawn to their negative links rather than their positives. So in the end we decided to filter out the entire dataset of negative traits and behaviours to focus solely on positive traits or what we now call Powernyms.

By separating out these factors during the indexing process, we suddenly had a resource that few others dream of, let alone create, a dataset of all the positive traits, abilities and strengths known to humankind that we could now link to the Letter-Effect directly.

We all know our faults. They run through our heads on a daily basis. Our problem is how we can get rid of them, not in knowing what they are.

We all need self-esteem and self-confidence to succeed in this life so what better than meditating on things that will give us a real boost in our own consciousness.

But first things first though, we needed to get rid of the virus of negativity so we needed a filter to do that for us. 

Fortunately, we'd already categorised negative traits and personal flaws so the next step was easy.

Fortunately, several years prior, I'd become aware of this deep connection between words and letters, quite independently.

My research indicated that meanings and themes were tightly-aligned within language itself yet there was no resource like it at the time, so I set out to built an index of all of the fragments in language catalogued as being positive, neutral or negative in nature.

I got to see connections within language that few have had the privilege to see, and with it a deep desire to see this discovery in the hands of the masses, as a form of empowerment and self discovery.

The consonance ran deep, every fragment cluster had their own mirrors and meanings connected to them. It was like I'd discovered an underlying matrix of understanding behind the English language itself. 

When I eventually completed my Semantic Thesaurus in 2010, I began to perceived how any exposure to negative triggers were counterproductive to peace of mind unless they were counteracted. I also began to see the impact that our increased exposure to the levels of negativity have on us as a society in the long term.
